Aviso Surfboards: Jeff "Doc" Lausch 6' 1 " (Pintail)
A little bit of information about Aviso and their surfboards. Aviso boards are hands down different from ANY other board out on the market today, for starters they're made in the U.S.A. They're made with carbon fiber, the same stuff other sports have been utilizing and winning on for years.
What makes Aviso so different from other surfboard manufacturers, is the fact that Aviso utilizes the most advanced composite construction techniques and materials and applies them to some of the planets hottest surfboard shapes. Members of the Aviso team have worked with composites primarily for the defense industry, specializing in covers for radar or broad banded electro-magnetic windows for radar on missile heads and nose cones for jet fighters. So, one day when your Aviso surfboard feels like it's about to go ballistic, you can relax. Can you say rocket science!
Take this "Doc" Lausch hand shaped mold, then add the advanced composites of carbon fiber for the winning combination of light, fast and flexible.

Customization:
With multiple flex patterns to choose from, the board can be tuned to suit the size and ability of the rider along with wave conditions. The key to the flex is fiber placement; the orientation of the fiber can be tailored to fit a certain load case. You can choose the type of flex you want, if you are trying to create your own power in small surf, or trying to harness the wave's power in larger surf.
Aviso surfboards can also be custom ordered to your exact needs. Due to the individual nature of custom boards, there will be a surcharge and longer lead-time.
If you don't see it, we can order it!
