Founded in 1994 by surf industry veteran Andrew Raggett, EMU is known globally for its tradition of offering the most comfortable shoes in the world, with products ranging from traditional sheepskin boots and slippers, to casual comfort slides, urban trainers, thongs and performance sport sandals.
As a privately owned company, EMU controls 100% of operations from concept to the shelf, including tanneries, factories, distribution facilities and wool resources based in the wool capital of the world, Geelong, Australia.
